Africa Utopia
I was just thinking…

I bumped into Poet, Story teller, writer and University of Manchester Chancellor Lemn Sissay this week and shared a hearty morning chat. We shared creative spaces at the Southbank Centre as artists in residence.
Lemn, hope you’ve extended your three days to a week plus. He’ll know what I’m talking about. We parted, Lemn going off to an exhibition, me off to work, but during our conversation, he mentioned I should get in touch with Hannah Pool who’s the tour de force behind Africa Utopia.
I got into one of my excitable soliloquies about the lack of Cinema journalism narratives focusing on Ghanaian etc story forms.
It got me thinking about the work I have done, continue to do and what I’ve been planning for the future. Hence I inserted this bit of shameless promotion (sorry!) It’s a pdf, which I’ve stripped as images, so it’s a wee distorted. Normal business of writing kicks off again Sunday with a piece on Einstein’s work and its relation to VR and a free seminar we’re doing with DisLAB following last week’s successful talk on, What does interactivity mean for you?”.
Apologies for the self promotion.
