The passage of time does not heal the loss. How could I continue to celebrate a father whom I only got to really understand when I became a father.

There were few pictures of him, and certainly no video or audio of his eloquent rich Ghanaian tones.

So I had the idea of creating his past using the few markers I had, plus letters and going back to his place of birth.

In the 1950s he was a policeman in the then Gold Coast. He came to Britain using a British Citizen passport. He did not pursue law enforcement; it was unheard of in the UK at the time. But he did what he felt he should do, and in the 2 min promo created using AI, I tried to find his voice.
